SPM’s role: Project Management of Construction and Post Construction, Project Management and Contract Administration Services, Principal’s Authorised Person (GC21 Contract).
Description
The project was managed through the construction, delivery and post construction phases. This included conducting weekly inspections, quality inspections, monthly WHS inspections and PCG meetings, communication with PCA/BCA Consultant on certification and compliance matters, communication with Architect and subconsultants with RFIs, monitoring approval conditions and ensuring compliance with LAHC specifications. Post completion inspections at various stages to report on defects/lessons learned. Initial OSD design required design amendments, requiring consultation between consultants, builder and council to resolved. Construction was completed on time in February 2019.
